The problem with NOx emissions in industrial production
NOx (Nitrogen oxides, dioxins) reduction has become a primary requirement in last years due to fitting reasons of environmental protection, and is strictly regulated by the Law. Besides exhaust gases coming from engines in the automotive and marittime sector, one of the most massive and worrisome sources of NOx emissions can surely be identified with industrial activities. Nitric Oxide and Dioxins can indeed be detected in the fumes generated by a variety of industrial plants, such as :

NOx reduction in Industrial fumes treatment can be effected both by using ammonia solutions and urea solutions. Through the use of such chemicals, NOx content is transformed into nitrogen and aqueous vapour, harmless for both humans and environment.
The Chimitex solution for dioxin abatement in industrial environments
Chimitex can supply both reagents (ammonia and urea solutions) required for NOx abatement. Our site in Fagnano Olona has a plant for the production of urea solutions. Our urea solutions are available at different concentrations, according to the characteristics of the customer’s plant; antiscaling and anticorrosion substances can be added, in order to meet customers’ needs.
The most common concentrations of our urea solutions are:
- urea solution 25%
- urea solution 33%
- urea solution 40%
- urea solution 45%

According to customers’ specific needs, Chimitex can prepare solutions of high purity urea, with very low impurities values, such that the final product is comparable with Adblue© from a quality standpoint.
